Temp. Tuesday - dedicated to all those secondary characters who never really get a chance to shine...or find themselves killed off before their time. Gbk, Tinalia, Narendra, Ifan...

Wicked Wednesday - the villains must have their day, too. This day is for the connivers, the schemers, the betrayers, the ones with the ulterior motives and the general bad guys you really want to see get their comeuppance

Throwdown Thursday - a day set aside for the Defenders, the elementalblades, the fighters, fight-slaves, knights, shadow guards and shadow warriors. In general, the martial combatants and everything that goes with them from armor to weapons.

WTF Friday - as anyone who's been following the Tome Series might guess, this day is for everyone's favorite bandit, Scorpio. Of course, this will also extend to the other rogues out there, the thieves and spies. A day for tricks and traps!

Insane Saturday - a day for the crazy, insane, mad and generally mentally unstable. These are the ones you don't want to find yourself alone with on a dark night. Let's delve into psychosis in all its dark manifestations.

However! Today is also a good day for an update on all things Kore`. As of next Tidbit Tuesday I will have been working on Book 3 of the Tome Series for exactly SIX MONTHS! So I thought it would be a fitting time to announce the title. Mark your calendars!

As to my many notorious plans otherwise, many things have been tabled due to weather and whatnot. I'd still like to get out and do some book signings (as so many people have asked about) but scheduling's a bite.

The same could be said for contests and such. Regrettably, I've fallen behind on setting those up as well! It's my hope to turn things around for you, dear readers. So keep your eyes peeled. It may not seem like it, but I am hard at work!

As of today, I have been working on the first draft of Book 3 of the Tome Series for six months and as promised here is the title!

"Rahasya ~ The City of Secrets!"

Most of Book 3 takes place in the Paanthan city of Rahasya, ruled by the Paanthan vitsa, Aravind. There's a long history between Aravind and Mayur, Riya's vitsa that will come to light. The city itself plays a pivitol role in several story arcs within the Tome Series including Riya's, Scorpio's, Amias', and Drakon's.

The real world inspiration for Rahasya is Jaisalmer, nicknamed "The Golden city", a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. A World Heritage Site, it was once known as Jaisalmer state. The town stands on a ridge of yellowish sandstone, crowned by a fort, which contains the palace and several ornate Jain temples. Many of the houses and temples are finely sculptured. It lies in the heart of the Thar Desert (Great Indian Desert) and has a population of about 78,000. It is the administrative headquarters of Jaisalmer District.
