Magic: the Gathering

Anyone else here play?

I've been playing for several years now and really enjoy it. My favorite decks are my black Phyrexia deck and a black life drain deck built around the Planeswalker Liliana Vess.

I play, but not often. Like Dungeons and Dragons, it's hard to get together with other players often. I only have a couple decks, but my best is a red dragon deck.

Are you looking forward to the Return to Ravnica campaign block coming out? I believe it's supposed to be released next week.

I found dragons too hard to use. They cost so much to play.

I have mixed feelings about the new campaign block. I didn't really like Ravnica the first time around. I wish they'd go back to Phyrexia, but not like they did in the New Phyrexia block. They just ruined it. I hated the emphasis placed on artifacts. They should've kept to the idea of comsuming creatures to make your Phyrexians more powerful. That was the whole idea Phyrexia was based on, after all.

The trick to playing dragons is to have spells that increase your mana quick like Geo Surge or Seething Song.

I'm inclined to agree with you about the Phyrexian campaign, but I'm looking forward to Return to Ravnica. If only for Vraska, the Unseen (the new Planeswalker). She looks kick ass! I might have to start a new deck.

I like her! Since all my decks seem to be black and green, it looks like it's time to make another!

I have a variety of decks, but I plan on creating a black/green deck from Ravnica as well.

haha. I finally got some of the Return to Ravnica cards, they're awesome! Haven't gotten Vraska yet though

I got a couple random packs from my mates for my birthday and haven't even had time to open them. They're still sitting on my desk, mocking me.

I hate it when random packs do that

Well, I finally got the chance to crack them! A lot of them were common but I did get one surprise. Perfect for my green/black deck.
